Everyday we put our bodies through strain. From simple activities such as walking and standing and the way we sleep and sit, to more demanding activities such as lifting and carrying objects.
This can all have an adverse effect on the body, causing muscle misalignment and creating a knock on effect throughout the body; effecting our moods, the way we move about in the world, and can prevent us from living an active and healthy life.
If we don’t address these misalignments, when we do come to taking part in our chosen activities, wether this be yoga, running or dancing, it can lead to further problems.
The human body is amazing, and quiet often we can reverse the damage with carefully selected exercises and going back to basic with simple techniques, to teach us to stand and walk correctly by engaging the correct muscles.
Melanie will guide you through some non-evasive and gentle exercises to assess your body, looking at posture, alignment, strength and balance, as well as looking at habits, and lifestyle to gain an overall view.
Based on the results and what you discover together, you will be given the recommended massage treatments, along with some appropriate postural exercises and lifestyle changes.

I offer a sliding scale, making it as reasonable and affordable as possible
1 hour - £45 - £60 (For follow up bookings only)
90 mins - £60 - £80
2 hours - £80 - £100
To make a booking you are required to pay a non refundable deposit of 30% of the lowest scale fee. Appointments can be re-schedule up to 24 hours of the booking. Please bare this in mind when making your booking.
If it’s your first time you are recommended to book for minimum of 90mins.
You can also have a mix session and combine a bodywork session with a massage treatment - Allow 2 hours for this.
