Everyday we put our bodies and mind through strain.
From simple activities such as walking and standing, the shoes we wear, our jobs, how we sit and sleep; can all have an adverse effect on the body, creating muscle misalignment. Which can have a high effect on our moods, the way we move about in this world, and can prevent an active healthy life.
If we don’t address these misalignments, then when we take part in our chosen activities, wether this be yoga, running or dancing, it can create further problems.

The human body is amazing, and quiet often we can reverse the damage with carefully selected exercises, learning simple techniques, such as how to stand and walk correctly by engaging the correct muscles.
During a bodywork session Melanie will firstly ask you a series of health questions, assess your posture, habits, lifestyle and overall level of wellbeing.
Based on the results and what you discover together, you will be given the recommended massage treatments, along with some appropriate postural exercises and lifestyle changes.
